This seminal paper contains the results of the mass spectrographic determination of the relative abundances of the uranium isotopes, U-238, U-235, and U-234. No other isotopes of uranium were observed. The half-lives of the isotopes were also reported. These were the most accurate measurements of isotopic ratios and half-lives at the time of publication, 1939. This information was most important in the development of nuclear reactors and the first nuclear weapons.
