TITLEMonitoring the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty: Data Processing and Infrasound
PUBLISHERBirkhäuser Verlag
CITYBasel, Switzerland

Part of a series of volumes on Monitoring the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT), this 2002 set of papers explores data processing and infrasound measurements with respect to CTBT monitoring capabilities. The first section on data processing contains six papers of various topics and methodologies regarding the handling and processing of large volumes of seismic data needed for CTBT monitoring. The other portion of the book presents five papers addressing how infrasound processing and modeling is used to sense and determine the origin of atmospheric nuclear explosions, which are not subject to detection using seismology. The book is part of a series that was undertaken to disseminate research that could improve CTBT monitoring capabilities.
