This video was produced by the Nuclear Security Project to increase public awareness of nuclear threats and to develop support for efforts to reduce the imminent dangers that nuclear weapons pose to civilization. It features commentaries by four men who were deeply involved with U.S. diplomacy and national security during the Cold War and post-Cold War periods. Former U.S Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and George Shultz, former Secretary of Defense Bill Perry, and former Senator Sam Nunn disclose their experiences that led them to write two Wall Street Journal 2007 op-eds in support of eliminating all nuclear weapons in the world and outlining the steps required to achieve that goal. The video also includes interviews with former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Narrated by actor Michael Douglas, the film also contains dramatic footage of nuclear weapons and terrorist activities.
