This website presents a variety of resources on the history of the Cuban Missile Crisis, from October 16 to 28, 1962. Organized with an introduction and sections related to each of the thirteen days of the crisis, the site provides access to declassified memoranda, speeches, and other source documents from the period, including newspaper and magazine articles. One significant feature is "A Reading List" containing over 200 bibliographic entries of secondary sources, memoirs, and other books on the Cuban Missile Crisis. The site also offers documentation of the exchanges between U.S. President John F. Kennedy and Soviet Premier Nikita Kruschev; minutes, transcripts, and audiotapes of the meetings of the U.S. National Security Council's Executive Committee; and links to several "forum series" on the crisis, which featured Kennedy administration officials and historians. The site is part of the historical resources on the website of the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
