TITLETrinity Atomic Website
DATE ACCESSED11 November 2016

The purpose of this website is to tell the story of nuclear weapons through historical materials. The site contains documents, videos, photographs, and maps on the Trinity test, and the atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It has a collection of nuclear test photos and sections on civil defense, which contain several pamphlets in PDF format and the famous Duck and Cover film. The site describes various Los Alamos publications, noting that most are no longer available online. The declassified text on nuclear weapons effects, The Effects of Nuclear Weapons published in 1977, is posted, as well as parts of the 1964 edition that were omitted in the 1977 publication. The site also has video and sound clips of many atmospheric tests performed in the U.S. It has links to other good websites, and is a sister site to the High Energy Weapons Archive.
