The book also includes separate chapters on delivery systems and safeguards. The author provides a glossary of terms and seven appendices on various topics, including the text of relevant treaties. The author, Leonard Spector, was a Senior Associate of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace and has worked for both the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Senate Energy and Nuclear Proliferation Subcommittee.
