This autobiography gives a chronological account of the life of Otto Frisch, co-discoverer of nuclear fission and atomic bomb scientist. Written when he was 70, it includes many reminiscences about his relationships with physicists including Oppenheimer, Teller, Feynman, von Neumann, Einstein, Rutherford, and Bohr. The book contributes a personal aspect to knowledge of the people and events behind some of the greatest discoveries of the 20th century. It contains many photographs and sketches by the author, and a section of suggested further readings.
