RUNNING TIME150 minutes

This movie tells the fictionalized story of Colonel Paul Tibbets, who flew the mission that dropped the atomic bomb on Hiroshima during World War II. Tibbets assembles his hand-picked crew to prepare for and fly the mission, but the intense training and security put a strain on his friendships and marriage. To increase the suspense, there is also a subplot about a family in Hiroshima. The film uses several newsreels from Paramount News.
