This article provides interesting insights into Niels Bohr's 1945 meeting in Copenhagen with Iakov Terletskii, a Soviet agent who posed as a physicist. The article provides a brief overview of the principle of a chain reaction and the production of plutonium. The authors then discuss a document released from the KGB archives containing the text of the conversation between Bohr and Terletskii. Excerpts from the dialogue between the two men support the authors' claims that Bohr only stated information that was general knowledge. He seemed more concerned with the news of his colleagues in the Soviet Union, Peter Kapitsa and Ivan Landau, than with physics.
