You can find references by choosing topics in the Browse
menu at the top of the page or the Alsos Categories on the home page.
Each topic contains many others, such as German Atomic Bomb Program
and Radiological Dispersive Devices in the Warfare topic. The results
are more focused than the results from keyword searches on the same
subjects: a nuclear issues expert has designated them as relevant.

My Bibliography. Select the references that

using Refine Search.

Match All Words, Any Words, or Exact Phrase
If you type more than one word in a text box, you can use the
Match pull-down menu to make your search more precise:
- An All Words search will find references containing
all of the words you entered. For example, if you type
nuclear deterrence, the results will have both words,
but not necessarily in that order.
- An Any Words search will find references containing
any of the words entered. For example, if you type
nuclear deterrence, the results will have either
nuclear or deterrence or both words.
- An Exact Phrase search will find references containing
the exact phrase entered. For example, if you type
nuclear deterrence, the results will have
nuclear immediately before deterrence.
Sort Order
By default, the results of browses and searches of Alsos are
ordered by relevance. If you wish to change the order when you
refine search, you can use the radio buttons on the Advanced Search
page to sort by date of publication or alphabetically by creator. If you
sort by date, references that have no published date of publication,
such as some websites, will be listed last.
